Time-based trigger
A Google Apps Script wakes up every 15 minutes on your account and checks what changed on either side since the last run.
Add a task on your phone — it shows up in Notion. Change it in Notion — Google Tasks knows 15 minutes later. One source of truth instead of watching two lists — deployed directly on your own Google account, nothing to copy by hand.
Tasks from your phone (Google Tasks) and your company's system of record (Notion) end up as two independent sources of truth — until someone forgets to copy one into the other.
Orbit syncs them both ways — whatever you add on one side shows up on the other within 15 minutes. No manual re-typing, no "did I actually do this, or just write it down."
The setup runs directly on your own Google account — we don't store your tasks on our infrastructure, the script works where your data already lives.
The "Duo" model — the same one bāAlpha uses in all of its Notion ↔ Google integrations.
A Google Apps Script wakes up every 15 minutes on your account and checks what changed on either side since the last run.
New, edited and completed tasks move both ways — Google Tasks ↔ your Notion Tasks database — recognizing which side changed most recently.
Every run leaves a trace in the log — more than 12 hours of silence is the signal that something needs a look.
The script and keys live with you — not on our infrastructure.
We agree which Google Tasks lists correspond to which views in your Tasks database.
A manual fix won't be undone by the next sync run.
You can see the sync is alive — and know when it stops working.
You'll know what to do if you ever want to change something yourself.
Monthly monitoring and small fixes — without a fresh setup from scratch.
Small business owners and teams who plan tasks on their phone through Google Tasks, but run their work and projects in Notion — and are tired of re-typing between them.
Orbit uses the same Notion ↔ Google integration model as the rest of the bāApps line — proven in bāAlpha's own daily operations before it went on sale.
This isn't a tool subscription — it's a one-time setup of a configuration on your own Google account. You pay once for a working sync; the monthly care plan is an option, not a requirement.
Yours. We deploy the script directly on your account — your data stays yours, and we don't retain ongoing access once setup is complete.
Usually 2–3 business days from confirming scope: configuration, list mapping, testing and handover of a working sync.
The standard setup covers up to 10 lists. More is quoted individually — write to us with your scope.
Orbit tracks which side changed most recently and syncs in that direction — it won't blindly overwrite a task you just edited by hand.
Limits come from daily Google Apps Script and Notion API quotas — in practice they comfortably cover a solo business or small team.
The script lives on your own account, so you can disable it yourself at any time — instructions are part of the handover.
Not necessarily. Notion is our default choice — you can check it out yourself before paying. We also deploy for other systems, like Obsidian — tell us what you use and we'll match it.
Tell us how many lists you have and what your Tasks database looks like today — we reply within 2 business days.
